Cash on delivery or COD is presented as a means of payment which encourages the recipient to make payment for the product or service upon delivery. In principle, payment on delivery involves making a payment in cash. Payment methods and terms vary depending on the payment provisions that are stipulated in the purchase contract. It is also possible to call this technique collection on delivery, because the delivery in question includes payment in cash. This can be done by using a bank card or a check. It is the duty of the carrier to collect the money given by the customer upon delivery of the products.
